Dust is shade

Dust is shade. What is in front of you is dust on broad leaves.

Do it in order

Handle it this way: wipe the leaves with a damp cloth. Wash the tool when you move to the next plant.

The usual miss

People lose cuttings and seedlings to a spray of leaf shine. Slow down there.

Finished means the leaf looks like a leaf, not a polished table. If you are guessing, water less than you want to and look again tomorrow.

This sits in "Windowsills", written as a garden note rather than a catalog.

A garden note, not a promise that a plant will thrive. Look again in a week.
