Cool water for most bunches. What is in front of you is the water in the vase.

Do it in order

Handle it this way: use cool clean water and change it when it clouds. Wash the tool when you move to the next plant.

The usual miss

People lose cuttings and seedlings to water left until it smells. Slow down there.

Finished means the water is clear. If you are guessing, water less than you want to and look again tomorrow.

This sits in "Cutting and vases", written as a garden note rather than a catalog.

A garden note, not a promise that a plant will thrive. Look again in a week.
